What is Aflaj?
Aflaj is a water intelligence platform that helps you understand, monitor and improve water use, therefore reducing cost.
Aflaj is a water intelligence platform that helps you understand, monitor and improve water use, therefore reducing cost.
Aflaj has two main paths:
No. Not for bill analysis.
You can start simply by uploading your water bill.
Sensors are used for the monitoring side of Aflaj, where continuous information about water use is needed.
Yes. Even better.
Aflaj's bill-analysis system is designed around the information found on water bills, including consumption, billing periods and tariff information. And providing us with an older one is helpful in studying your patterns and providing better recommendations.
Aflaj can help you understand:
The goal is simple: turn a complicated bill into something you can understand and act on.
You can still use Aflaj.
A single bill can provide useful information about your current consumption and costs.
However, historical comparisons become more meaningful when you provide additional bills.
Not necessarily.
Aflaj analyzes consumption patterns and other available data to flag abnormal usage and potential leak risks.
For example, a report may indicate that your recent consumption is unusually high and suggest checking toilets, taps, pipes or other possible sources.
Aflaj helps you identify where to investigate; it does not replace a physical inspection by a professional.
Yes.
Aflaj can estimate a reduction target based on your consumption and tariff situation, helping you understand what level of use could move you toward a lower-cost range.
Aflaj works with water-related measurements such as:
The sensor data is then sent to the Aflaj platform for monitoring and analysis.
Aflaj's sensor architecture is designed NOT to depend on the customer's site Wi-Fi. The current product uses ESP32-based sensor nodes with cellular connectivity. This is particularly useful for agricultural, industrial or remote locations where conventional Internet access can be difficult.
Not necessarily.
Aflaj can be designed around its own sensor nodes, but the platform can also work with existing monitoring infrastructure where compatible.
This means organizations don't necessarily have to replace hardware they already have.
Aflaj generates an alert when monitored water use goes outside defined or learned conditions. You can then investigate the event through the dashboard and use the available data to understand what happened.
You receive a downloadable Water Intelligence Report containing the analysis, insights and recommendations generated from your bill data.
The Water Advisor is the conversational layer of Aflaj. Instead of searching through a report yourself, you can ask questions about your water use and receive explanations based on the information available in your Aflaj account.
Never.
The original bill and measurements remain the source data.
Aflaj is designed to ground the Water Advisor's responses in the data and analysis available in your account. However, as with any automated system, its responses should be treated as guidance rather than an ultimate replacement for professional inspections.
Your water data is used to provide the Aflaj service and should only be handled according to the privacy terms you agree to when using the platform.
Yes. Aflaj's enterprise system is designed for environments where continuous water monitoring is useful, including farms, hotels, businesses, factories and organizations. Sensors can provide live information while the dashboard centralizes monitoring, alerts and reports.
Yes. Aflaj is designed to support integration with compatible existing monitoring infrastructure.
